The hot and curvy star Deepika Padukone announced that she is ready to act in lip lock scenes. Addressing the media, she said that, it’s also a part of my profession and I don’t mind to be kissed or shown lip locked with any hero, if the Director asks to do so.

Our Indian film industry is still in hesitation and struggling to exhibit kissing scenes on the silver screens, where as the Hollywood done it a long ago. They are now showing their viewers the hot mating scenes that are almost equal to a blue film. Though we do not dare to go that much, she said that lip locking scenes become acceptable to the Indian society. If the storyline contains such a situation, I do not hesitate to act in lip locking scenes.

Answering to the media questions about her new boy friend Ranabir kapoor acting in the kissing scenes with the other heroines, she said that he is doing his job.

’Chandramukhi’ is the flick starred by Rajinikanth was a big hit in Telugu and Tamil box offices in which Jyothika played titled role in Telugu and Tamil. ’Magadheera’ audio for Rs 1.5 Cr

According to Tollywood reports, the audio rights of music scored by Devi Sri Prasad for the film starring Ram Charan Tej and Kajol Agarwal, has been bought by Supreme Music for around Rs 1.5 Crores. This yet to be titled film is being produced by Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts and Directed by SS RAjamouli. The film is the final stages of shooting.Srihari plays an important role in this rebirth of lovers story that spans around four hundred years. The audio of this film, tentatively titled Magadheera, will be released in the early part of March. The film is planned for a summer release.

Aamir Khan gets Rs 10 Cr

Aamir Khan has been the Coke’s brand ambassador for quite sometime. His contract has been recently renewed and he has been signed for Rs 10 Crores for a period of two years.The shoot for his latest Ad will start soon.The last Ad of Aamir showed him endorsing Coke’s strict quality control measures. This was when soft drinks of both PepsiCo and Coke failed health standards testing positive for pesticides. According to sources, the rise in the contract fee of Aamir for the Coke Ad skyrocketed because of the phenomenal success of Ghajini.

‘Drona’ starring Nithin and Priyamani in the lead cast is directed by J Karunakumar. DS Rao is producing the film on Sai Krishna Productions banner which is in the final stages of completing post production work. Erstwhile associate of big time director SS Rajamouli, J Karunakumar is making the film as an entertaining flick in his mentor’s style. Svelte actress Priyamani is on a glamour spree for ‘Drona’ and appears in a Bikini for a song. Excluding the show, she dances clad in skimpy outfits for a rain dance which is being canned in Ramoji Film City at present.

Speaking about the film’s progress producer DS Rao said, “The crew is presently filming the final song featuring Nithin and Priyamani at Ramoji Film City. Johny does the choreography and this number will sure entertain the masses.” For the first time, to render high quality output the entire film is being converted into Digital Intermediate (DT). Supreme Music recently launched the audio of ‘Drona’ that garnered attention in the chartbuster. The movie will be released this month on 20th, as confirmed by the makers.

In Nithin’s filmography, ‘Drona’ is being said to be one of the highest budgeted flicks. Mukhesh Rushi, Seetha, Nithin and Priyamani have shared screen space in emotional sequences which is picturized to appease family audiences. Saleable points include glam parade done by Priyamani in songs and an item number performed by Rakhi Sawanth. On the whole, ‘Drona’ packs elements to satisfy each and everyone.

She featured in hits like ’Lagaan’ and ’Munnabhai M.B.B.S’, but Gracy Singh couldn’t carve a niche for herself in Bollywood so she has decided to try her luck down south. The actress will be seen in ’Loud Speaker’ with Malayalam superstar Mammooty. The film will be produced and directed by Jayaraj. Genelia D’Souza,who won hearts with her girl-next-door image in last year’s hit Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, says she isn’t seeing anyone and right now her main concern is her upcoming film It’s My Life. “I’m pretty much like Aditi from Jaane Tu…. There’s no one in my life. I’m even shooting on Valentine’s Day,” Genelia says. Helmed by writer-turned director Aneez Bazmee, It’s My Life is a remake of the 2006 Telugu hit Bommarillu. Genelia played the female lead in the original opposite South actor Siddharth Narayan and won the Telugu Filmfare Best Actress award for the film.
“The film’s Telugu version was a blockbuster down south. Aneez sir has done a terrific job with the film and I hope the Hindi version is as successful as the Telugu one,” Genelia says.

In the film, she teams up with Hurman S. Baweja, who was written off by critics after his debut vehicle Love Story 2050 turned turtle at the box office.Asked her if she had any apprehensions working with Hurman, Genelia said, “I would not like to comment on that but I just hope my film does really well.”Produced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, It’s My Life also stars Nana Patekar. The 21-year-old wants to do all kinds of roles. “I’ll take any role that challenges me. After all, it’s only films that make the bigger picture for me,” she said.

Not many know that Genelia also had her opinion about Bollywood during her years of struggle. “Like a normal middle class girl, I initially believed that it’s (Bollywood) a big bad industry, but now I’ve realised that it treats you how you want it to treat you. SULTAN the Warrior’ arrives in May!

Sultan the Warrior’, directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, is scheduled to hit screens in May, as per our sources. Soundarya, who has made the film at a budget of Rs. 60 crores, has plans to cash in on the summer vacation mood. The film will be released worldwide in 18 different languages. A major highlight of ‘Sultan the Warrior’ is that at an important juncture the real Rajnikanth emerges from the animated Rajnikanth. Vijayalakshmi, director Agathiyan’s daughter, is the heroine in the film. Rajni is all praise for the young actress, who has already gained acclaim for her work in ‘Chennai 600028’ and ‘Anjathay’.

Shriya Saran’s costly affair

The leading damsel in South Indian cinema Shriya Saran plays the female lead in the extravagantly made ‘Mallanna’ starring Vikram. Directed by Susi Ganesan, Kalapuli S. Dhanu is producing the film on a high budget. Based on a fantasy plot, Vikram plays the Indian superhero and Shriya’s role is yet to be out. After spending about two years in the making, the crew is now busy filming the songs in exquisite foreign locations. For rendering the songs a grandiose effect, the makers are thriving for every aspect including the main lead’s costumes.

The costume designers after lengthy discussions decided upon a costume worth 30 lakhs and jewelry worth 6 crores for Shriya which they felt will be apt (!) to bring in the desired effect. With the producers consent, the costumes were made ready and the jewel set was rented for an amount of 5 lakhs on a daily basis. The song was canned in Italy and the estimated budget for the single song itself is one and a half crores, says Reuters. If one song costs this much, one can imagine what the total budget might be…
